“I believe that all human beings have a natural tendency toward growth and self-actualization. Let’s understand together what’s getting in your way and envision together how you want to transform and grow.”
Individual Counseling
Individuals get turned around and become stuck, often as a result of chronic stress, difficult relationships, loss, oppression, and traumatic events. As a therapist Dr. Madabhushi recognizes the power of a warm, empathic, safe relationship in helping clients to see their stuck points; explore the patterns in their thoughts, emotions, behaviors and relationships; contend with the choices that are available to them; and choose their path in a conscious and deliberate manner. With her keen clinical judgment and compassionate honesty, she helps individuals manage their symptoms, explore their identities, improve their relationships, successfully navigate life transitions, and harness their potential. She offers the support and encouragement needed to take brave steps toward positive change.
Couples Counseling
She also works with couples and families to help alleviate suffering. She fosters positive change by allowing couples and families to see their relationships more objectively, understand problematic patterns, modify dysfunctional behaviors, increase capacity to tolerate difficult emotions, improve communication, and capitalize on strengths.
Group Counseling
She also offers group therapy. Groups are a space where you can share experiences and struggles with others. Groups can help you gain support, receive feedback about how others experience you, learn about yourself, try out new behaviors, and develop more satisfying ways of relating to others.
